Join me on a 1-1 bespoke workshop in the most dramatic and awe inspiring landscape destination in Ireland, Connemara. Whether you're an absolute beginner or a more seasoned veteran, this workshop is suited to all photography levels. Home to dramatic mountain ranges, serene lakes, sweeping valleys, gushing streams and waterfalls, and much more. Whatever the shot you have in mind, we'll do our very best to find it. All the while learning about compsition, camera settings, predicting weather for certain scenes and how to develop a photographic eye. Connemara is my favourite place in the world, it lends itself to every type of weather imagineable, which is why its just so amazing for landscape phototgraphy.   • Each Workshop includes a follow up, live, 1-1 post processing tutorial at a time that suits. Where we will discuss the images you have taken on the trip, and then select one to edit. 

 

What you'll learn

  • Camera settings- Learn to shoot in manual mode with full control over everything you're doing, learn to use your histogram correctly, learn the correct white balance setting, etc. 
  • Composition- Learn what makes a good composition, a good composition is ascertained through many various factors, I'll show you exactly what to look for. 
  • Using various Filters to get creative, but only to improve your image, through longer exposures and using a polariser correctly.
  • Learn to fully understand the exposure triangle and how different exposures suit separate scenes better.
  • Learn to understand focus and depth of field and how to use it to your advantage for different scenes.

 

What You'll Need?

  • DSLR/MIRRORLESS Camera
  • Mid Range Zoom ie. 24-70mm/ 24-105mm etc
  • Wide Angle ie. 16-35mm/15-30mm etc 
  • Longer Range Zoom (if possible) ie. 70-300mm/100-400mm etc (advised but not a necessity) 
  • Tripod & Filters, however I can provide if needed
  • Warm and Dry Outdoor Wear, (advised but not absolutely necessary)

 

Note - This is only recommended gear, a Camera and Mid range zoom will suffice
